Quad Triac Switch Card Kit

Relays are usually used to switch AC voltages by means of an electronic control because of their simplicity. However, when switching occurs too frequently or too quickly the life time of the contact points is shortened considerably. This can be solved perfectly by replacing the relays with a triac. Using opto-couplers, the entire interface network remains electrically isolated from the voltage that has to be switched.

PC Interface Board Kit

To enable a computer to communicate with the outside world, it is usually fitted with a keyboard, a display and perhaps a mouse. If however it is to be used in certain control applications, or certain control functions are to be carried out, then an interface is needed. The interface card here excels in its simplicity of use and installation. The card is connected in a very simple way to the printer port (there is no need to open up the computer). Likewise there is no need to install an extra printer port, even if a printer is to be used. This can be connected to the card in the usual manner. Connection to the computer is optically isolated, so that damage to the computer from the card is not possible. The card is controlled in a simple way using Turbo Pascal, QBasic, Visual Basic, Delphi, C++ (to use with MS-DOS, Win3.11, Win95, 98, ME, NT, XP, 2000). These procedures are pre-programmed and are provided along with a number of test and example programs on the diskette supplied. The card itself has 16 optically isolated digital connections, which can be freely chosen as either inputs or outputs (eg. 6 inputs and 10 outputs) according to how they are set up by the user. Furthermore, the card has 9 analogue outputs, of which one is high precision, and 4 analogue inputs. If this capacity is not sufficient for a particular application then up to 4 cards can be connected together (1 master and 3 slaves), such that an enormous potential exists. The card can be used with many of our other kits such as : K6714 16 channel relay card, K8023 10-channel 2-wire remote control.

Programmable Message Board with LCD, Serial Interface and 8 Inputs Kit

Add an LCD display to any low-tech application and make it look high-tech ! Replace up to 9 indicators or lamps by one single backlit LCD, recall messages simply by pressing a button, inputs accept dry contacts, open collectors and logic levels. USB Experiment Interface Board Kit K8055N

The K8055N interface board has 5 digital input channels and 8 digital output channels. In addition, there are two analogue inputs and two analogue outputs with 8 bit resolution. The number of inputs/outputs can be further expanded by connecting more (up to a maximum of four) cards to the PC's USB connectors. All communication routines are contained in a Dynamic Link Library (DLL). You may write custom Windows (XP, Vista, Windows7) applications in Delphi, Visual Basic, C++ Builder or any other 32-bit Windows application development tool that supports calls to a DLL. Source code examples for Visual Basic, Visual C++, Visual C#, Excel, Delphi and Borland C++ builder are available.
